Google says there's the Asda Midwest Postage Stamp Show May 22-24 at the Holiday Inn Chicago Oakbrook in Oakbrook Terrace. It says it's a suburb of Chicago so I'm guessing that means it isn't too far away from the actual city. Hope this helps.
billresh- you ca attend on these stamp club meetings as a guest..they might have local auctions too .. see which one meets the day you are in town..the one which meets on 4th thu or fri will work for you I think
