Greetings,

I am a Newfoundland stamp collector in Maryland whose collection lay fairly dormant for years, and I am revitalizing my collection. I have enjoyed working on my collection again so far...

Greetings!

I was taught - many years ago by Canadians - that the correct pronunciation is NEW-fund-land. In return, I corrected their pronunciation of "Maryland" (MEH-ruh-lend).

Then we all went out for excellent Canadian beer.
