Need help on this ,can someone explain this being blue in color . I found the red in Scott catalog 65X1 ???

I don't know, but I will point out that the design is slightly different. The V in Virginia is larger than the other letters in Virginia. On the 65x1 red all the letters in Virginia are the same height. Also the "Post Office" is further to the right. On the red the P of Post office is almost directly under the P of Petersburg.

I'd agree with rlsny. I also notice that the spacing and positioning of the post masters name at the bottom is different.

Also, the lettering and spacing of W.T. Bass, P.M (no period!)is not genuine.

Thanks everybody for your input , it is a fake . In the above links it looks like a few different fakes have been created ,so I need to write and detail this on my album page .

I looked at the images you posted and linked to. I am not sure if the first page where the blue was found are fakes or not but the OP stamp matches the blue one from the website to a "T". I resized the images to match and copied a piece cut through each line of text from right image and pasted on left image. Exact match. Your copy matches the blue in the first link (whatever that means).
