Hi

Would this constitute usage of the stamps shown as Revenue Stamps on these receipts? Notice on the stamps "Postage Revenue". Are all Postage stamps so marked suitable for Dual Usage?

Absolutely.
Two very nice pieces of ephemera there.
You own some interesting material.

Also, a nice "Proving piece" for the William Dawson & sons PERFIN.

Cool. I've come across another interesting postal stamp used as a revenue. This time on a boarding pass for a flight from Bermuda to NY in 1937:

According to the Scott catalog this stamp had a limited period of authorized use for postal purposes. It doesn't specify the authorized period of usage as a Revenue.

Once one of these stamps is given a fiscal use, it ceases to be a "postage stamp" for the purposes of the catalogue, which is, I presume, why Scott says nothing about the period of fiscal use.

Thanks. Appreciate your assistance. I have to assume the authorized period of fiscal use continues until the stamp was replaced by another version.
