I just got interested in US butterfly stamps and have compiled a list. The first section of the list contains primary images of butterflies and the second section contains stamps with "secondary" images. Any corrections and/or additions appreciated. Sorry I don't have images to post. Oh, and there is a 2005 buck moth stamp, which I decided not to include.

I assume you skipped all moths like the 2293 1987 22c Luna Moth (Wildlife sheet). Beautiful moth.

To my knowledge it seems like you have them all.

It would be a good idea to check the ATA list (http://americantopicalassn.org/pdf/...190220.pdf). They do a good job of finding those secondary items that are some.

A quick way to find US topics like this is to simply use this free online tool,
http://stampsmarter.com/1847usa/SSSearchWord.html
Type the keyword in (i.e. butterfly) and it returns all US stamps with that keyword (and images)

Appreciate the link recommendations.

Am putting this together for my wife, who is not fond of moths. I suspect the moth is underappreciated.
