I've spent quite a lot of time sorting out a large collection of stamps and such left by my Grandmother and her sister. I came across this sweet little note today and thought I would share. My Grandfather traveled a lot for his job, and sent my Grandmother a little present.

Thank you for sharing this; it brought back some memories for me as well. I was actually in 1st grade in Moultrie GA in 1951-52! My family moved from there to Louisiana in 1952 and I have never been back to Moultrie but still have some fond memories of my first grade year there.

Very nice. I found a love letter from my grandmother to my grandfather among the stamp collection I inherited from him, from just after their marriage. He travelled extensively in the Midwest as a US postal fraud investigator. It was very sweet - I passed it onto my father to keep as family history.
