Question #1
About how many stamps do you use per month to mail bills, letters, Ect? I know with email and electonic bill paying stamps are used less.

Question #2
When you mail letters or pay bills, etc., do you use a combination of older stamps, or do you just throw a forever stamp on the envelope?

I welcome your answers.
Thanks!

I use probably 5 minimum stamps per month just to pay bills plus others for birthday cards, etc.

I always use a combination of old stamps.

#1 - Only 3-5 on personal letters/cards per month
#2 - Both, whatever I have handy

I do use old (<1930) Christmas Seals on all the Holiday cards we send.

We use perhaps 3-4 stamps per month. They are forever stamps; the only local outlet for stamps is the Customer Service counter of our nearby Supermarket, and they only sell booklets. Nothing else.

The closest USPS outlet is a 20 minute drive that entails a long wait, they are always doing passport applications.

1- Perhaps one or two per month.

2- I'm down to using the FOREVER stamps. Several years ago I used all my old postage to support the mailing of several issues of a society journal to the membership to save them the expense.

1 - about 5 or so letters/payments mailed each month
2 - If mailing to an entity or business, I normally use common FOREVER stamps/postal stationary. If mailing to an individual, such as paying for a stamp purchase, I will use older stamps

Less than 1 per month for cards and taxes.

I use forever stamps. I try to use a "love" stamp when submitting my taxes. I'm sure the sarcasm is missed in the mail room.

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example.

1) 6-7 a month

2) Half and half. I started collecting due to old postage being used, I try to keep it up.

Another good question might be:

Whose outgoing mail always smells like Pure Citrus from removing and illegally reusing uncanceled stamps?

#1 6-8 times per month.

#2 mostly Forever stamps. Couple years ago, I ran out of 42 cent and 44 cent stamps that I had bought, so I could use up old 3 cent and 4 cent stamps that I inherited from my late father. USPS was no longer selling them. He passed away at the end of 1992, which will tell you how much he left.

We use old stamps on all our correspondence but never on ebay shipments. My wife has all the postage I give her sorted by denominations and probably uses over 100/months.

1) I use stamps on perhaps 3-4 pieces per month.

2) Of those, if I'm not pressed for time, I'll select some post 1950 stamps - and then only those that are hinged or similarly botched up.
