Is it just me and my old computer (or my even-older eyeballs), but isn't this stated color scheme the exact opposite of what it should be??

All the posts with new content that I haven't read yet are in the color blue, and those with nothing new are in red.

Or am I just confused (again)?

And am I the first one to notice this?

Jim

Blue = ice cold topic, no activity
Red = hot topic, new activity

Makes sense to me! (LOL, I have no idea why the colors are what they are, but that is my story and I am sticking with it.)
Don

Edit - Note that the flaming GIF is consistent with the red icon. Not sure a flaming GIF on the blue would make more sense.

Don,

Ok, after I posted this, it showed as red on my computer. Meaning, no new posts.

Then you made a post I clicked on refresh and it changed to blue, meaning a new post was made (i.e., you).

I opened it and it changed back to red, meaning I was up to date.

I am confused by what is written and what is happening in real life.

Jim

Hmmm, I am not sure because I do not have access to the code. To be honest, I use the 'New Topics' page because it works nicely for me (since I have to read every new post). https://www.stampcommunity.org/active.asp
You can set this page to 'refresh' with the drop down box. I actually link this page on my desktop and open the site exclusively using this link. This assures that I will never miss a new post/thread.

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one in a constant state of near-befuddlement.
