I don't think I'd call any of these "very bad"!

Agreed. The 5/- with the DLR perfin is quite nice. Assuming it's a De La Rue perfin? Also the 2/6 with the London CDS stamps is decent. One usually see these with the smeared parcel cancels so the light strikes of the CDS are nice. Yes there are a couple short perfs but I still like it.

If they are going in the garbage please send them to me. I have a nice big garbage bin. They are quite acceptable for most people. These stamps got stuck on big parcels and if it was a paper parcel they would fold and crinkle when stamped with the parcel stamp. If the parcel was a box they would get scuffed and rubbed. Getting old high value GB stuff in really nice condition is very difficult. Low values that went on letters had an easy life and avoided damage, high values were less common to start with and tended to take a beating en route to the consignee. Hang onto them or sell them.

I like the 2/6 as well. I definitely wouldn't throw it out. Looks a bit dull though - might benefit from having a bath.

Please don't throw them away novato. There will be postmark interest on these stamps, even if the stamps themselves are a little tired or damaged

Perfin cancel does not equal damaged. Sure, in many/most cases they negatively impact market value to a general collector, but to a perfin collector they are not a negative at all.

P.S. I see far worse than these sold online every day. Not bin material.
