So Im still going through the German stuff and being new, Im not sure what these marks are on the back. Can anyone help? I dont see any Wmk and im also not certain what the other mark is either. Stumped again.... Tks in advance.

Not positive, but it looks like ink transfer from an album page or from envelope or postcard of where to put the stamp. #41 obviously a catalogue # of the stamp from owner at time he owned it. Could be Scott or Michel or other.

Although this is a later German example, I think your stamp has some residual gum which pulled off the stamp box outline. This stamp would show a similar thing if pried-off. The dotted lines should soak off.

Scott 41 doesnt match that I can tell. It came from an envelope of Reich stamps im sorting. In envelope for the past 27+ years

Confirmed - paper transfer w/ ink line.... Tks much
Cleaned up and drying now. Also can now see Wmk 125.
