If I had really given it much thought I would have also included the $25. But, it is in a different book. Sorry!

Have you closely examined your stamps for plate varieties, many can be found if you are lucky.

Hi angore, sorry I do not fully understand your posting, what do you mean "do you realize you bumped a 2010 post?"
If you mean, it was an older posting, yes I understand that.
Do you mean we are not to respond (in your words bump older posts) then why are they listed and available? They are not locked, so I thought I might be able to help in some small way. To me asking for help makes no difference if it was today or 20 years ago when it comes to stamp collecting.
Good luck.

The proper way to 'bump' a thread is to note that it is an older thread. When this is done then others, who might not notice it was 'bumped', are aware and have the proper context. Don

Hi Don
Understand and will do the proper way to bump in future.
On the "TOPIC" page it lists the original posting date, I figured anyone would read everything on this "TOPIC" to understand what the posting.
Thanks for the information, will follow the bump rules. I checked the rules before responding to this posting, and did not see any rules regarding responding to older posting, or bump rules.
Good luck

No problems. It is not a rule but rather considered forum etiquette. Don |

Hi Don
So when I reply to one of these posting, should I start with this "BUMP RULE, RESPONDING TO AN OLDER POSTING THREAD"?
Or should I just use "OLDER THREAD"?
Sorry to take up so much of your time, but do not want to mess up again.

Hi Don, again, sorry, I forgot to ask one other thing.
How old is old when responding to old posting?

You can simply put 'Bumping older thread' for anything older than year (from the most recent post). Don |
