Hello! Thought I'd pull a stamp out of my "Can't Identify" glassine and ask for some help with it.

I am reasonably certain this is a Thai stamp. The 25 Satang denomination is in both English and Thai characters. The last 3 characters of the word at the top appear to be a stylized version of the 3 character name of Thailand as depicted on postage stamps from 1940-1962.

The name Siam or Thailand does not appear, leading me to believe this is not a regular postage stamp, but something back of the book.

Design is 21mm x 15mm, perfs 13.5

Any ideas?

Later example.

Thank-you! I found a listing/catalogue by J. Barefoot online (I can't post a link yet). Yours appears to be his 36 (1935 1Baht). Mine is closest to his 61 (1948 25 Satang Grey Perf 13), except that perfs are 13.5 and color to me looks greenish. Are there other catalogues out there? Can I assume mine is the 61 despite the subtle differences? Thanks again.

Mos,
not aware of any Thai revenue Catalogues, never seen one.
No doubt Barefoot does have one.
Please post a link if you can.
(1948 looks a good bet for the style, 25 stang is a quarter of a baht)

On second look, yours is more likely #68 from 1952.
