Collected since childhood through the early 90's, then tucked my collections away. GB, Australia, Canada primarily. Retired after a 40 yr career in medical research, packed up a couple of suitcases, the dog and the stamps (all removed from albums to make them more portable) and moved to rural northwestern France. Just "dusted off" the stockbooks, ordered some generic binders, a used SG catalog on the cheap and quadrille pages and looking forward to creating my homemade albums. Now being an OAP, I'm afraid I cannot afford proper albums, but excited about the prospects of rekindling my old love of philately.

Welcome Runcible Spoon

I print my own pages and I find it gives me great flexibility in my collecting.

Your bio reminds me vaguely of the late David Douglas Duncan. Have fun with the forum.
