Hi, Vayolene, the Indian story is really an interesting squirrel story with a good morale. It seems that squirrels have much less chance to be heroes in a tale than mice. I have read some interesting squirrel stories by this American naturalist writer. Although they are not fables and not on any stamps, but still quite amusing, surprising and thought provoking. John Burroughs at Woodchuck Lodge Roxbury, New York Squirrels and Other Fur-Bearers by John Burroughs http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/24388 |
