One of the more interesting sets I've found in my new stash shows beetles, my favorite bug. For those of you unfamiliar with Israeli stamps, please note the "tab" at the bottom of each stamp. The tab adds tremendously, IMHO, to the visual appeal.

laswabbie,

Those tabs (which I had never seen before now) do add a lot to the visual appeal. They are really nice.

Is it hard to get them like that used? Are used more costly than mint? I am a used fan. No, I mean I am a fan of used stamps. There, that sounds better.

Normally bugs scare me somewhat but those pics are not so bad. Some pics are taken from a face on viewpoint with the big mandables reaching for you. Holy smokes.

Puzzler, used tabbed stamps are much harder to find. Although Scott's does not really show a price for tabbed singles mint or used almost all used are priced equal to or lower than mint. I've seen relatively few tabbed used on StampWants.
