Buy an ad on late night television, offer to sell them at a vastly inflated price because you have an "Official Certificate of Authenticity." Then you retire to an all inclusive resort in Cancun Mexico and spend your days fishing and playing golf. |

Quote: i am still trying to sell enough off to get my hundred back I'd double down on that investment with a couple bottles of Crown Royal. You and Greg can work up the script for a joint infomercial this weekend. If you want to post it to YouTube first, I'm sure you could get plenty of feedback here. (Maybe a few sales, too.) C |

If I won that lot, I would send the stamps to Ziggy, and tell him to let the scouts use the stamps to start a campfire, and toast some marshmellows
Phil...I thought you were a mountain dew man ? |

Bob - If you kept a hundred, it would certainly make their value go up - eventually! |

just so you all know I was not a complete fool on the Campbell Hall bulk lot..i looked in the back of Linns and there was a place St. Albans Stamp Mission in Ellenton Fl..right near my Dads place where you could donate stamps to charity and get a deduction on your income tax..i think I sent them 2 thousand dollars catalog and asked for a $300 letter of receipt which they gladly sent..so that should have covered the cost of the lot..i still make $100 mistakes but I try to limit them to once a year or less !! |
