I am pretty sure the stamp and coin were purchased at the same time. Sometime in the 1980's. How do I go about finding the value of these? Who is the best person/company to contact. Thx

Hi, totspups, welcome to the forum!

I can't tell you what these are worth, no proper catalog for them here, but I wanted to say they look nice. I like the stamps (not being a vatican collector I am just going by visual appeal and the imagery.

You could try searching on ebay (in preferences click / choose Worldwide to get a better perspective. Also remember to scroll to the bottom of the page and click on stores items link as that would give you what things are selling for as an actual value rather than the 99c auction starting prices.

Another worldwide site like ebay but located in Europe (so maybe better to check for vatican stuff, is www.delcampe.com . On there look at the top of the page and choose to view the International site, not just the US site.

Watch the auctions, wait for them to end, and then view the completed listings click off choice to see what sold and how much at that time it went for.

All that is a rough idea.

Some folks on here probably could tell you the catalog values also.
