Put this one in my Finland cancels collection some years ago and ran across it again today.

Of the many, many hundreds of Finnish stamps I soaked in the 1980s-90s, I never saw another one like this. Any help with identification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There are multiple Finnish Coast Guard ships designated with "PV" numbers, with the meaning "patrol vessel". Perhaps "PV 8" is the designation of a Finnish ship, and this is sea mail?

Yes, "PV" here is short for "postivaunu" and this appeared in various forms on earlier TPO postmarks.
