I've seen the inverted S,s on this issue but is this an inverted n ?

Opinion: No, one can see part of the serifs on the legs of the "n"
Poor printing on these opts is common.

What I do not recognise is the large "O" and it's position, usually on mine, the bottom of the O and the n are roughly on the same line.

Hmm, I just found this example in my collection.

I think it's a normal variation. The 'n' is poorly printed rather than inverted. Also, sometimes the 'O' is not on the same level as the 'n'.
