Hi all - I am pretty new to precancels, but am doing my best to learn, having purchased some old reference materials and just signing up for the PSS PC tool (still waiting for my auth code).

I recently found this in my collection and thought it may be of interest, as Scott 342 is a "better" stamp in the first place.

Anything anyone can share would be very much appreciated.

This is called a L-1 E var-1. PSS cv is 10$. One of many stamps that are scarcer and "worth" less that the non-precancelled.
