Hi All,

I recently acquired a very nice variety on a Zambian stamp.

The description read:-

Quote.

ZAMBIA 1988 Bird stamp 10K **SPECTACULAR** Colour Shift!
I was in Zambia last week, at the very edge of the Zambezi River, about to be swept over the edge of Victoria Falls into Zimbabwe so this was an opportune buy today, in a collection of printing errors.
THE most spectacular Colour Misregistration you will ever see from ANYWHERE. The 1988 10K Chicken top value of set – a normal copy is shown - hard to believe it is the same stamp!
Fresh MUH corner copy with Plate number. For a BIRDS collection – a real showpiece.

Unquote.

It certainly is striking!

You can see the early years of Zambian stamps 1964-68 on our site at

Plenty of philatelic content to choose from on our advert free, non commercial website:-

Great Britain Machins, British Booklets, G.B. Registered Envelopes, Stamps from Machines, George VI, Antarctica, Australian booklets, Complete Collection? Edward 8th, King Edward VIII - a collection, Fun with stamps, Miniature sheets, Nubian Monuments, Something Slightly Different-varieties etc., Wilding 3d definitive, Machin dark flaw in hair variety, Machin extra extension hole variety, Zambia,

Letters from the Past
a selection of letters dated from 1660 to the middle 1800s, with details of the postal markings and contents.
More letters uploaded regularly.

200 years of British postmarks, various types.
Miscellaneous - e.g. Australia, Christmas Island, Tin Can Mail, Zeppelin, Cupboard collections, Rhodesian stamp variety, Egyptian Censor cover from WWII, 1941, Princess Anne's visit to Hong Kong 1971
Hopefully something of interest for some at

Regards to all
Ron and Eunice.
