3 Cent Lincoln Stamp With Perforations Only On One Side

Hi, I'm new to stamp collecting...just inherited several hundred stamps. I came across a 3 cent Lincoln stamp and need some advice. The stamp is perforated on the left side only. The top, bottom, and right side are straight edges. How is this possible? I've attaches a photo of the stamp. Thanks in advance.

It is a slightly mis-perforated coil stamp, or rather mis-cut in a coil dispenser

Welcome,
Appears to be a coil stamp (perforated on two side) and when it went through an affixing (dispensing) machine the cutter was not well aligned made the other straight edge (instead of falling upon the perfs).
