There seems to be a similarity between 2009 Year of the Ox stamp and souvenir sheet and 2010 Year of the Tiger. Perhaps Canada Post is keeping the same design for the whole 12 stamps in this series?

Edit: Yes they are. In Canada Post's Details magazine they say they are! So, a tall skinny souvenir sheet with an International rate and a square regular Domestic rate stamp for each of the animals.

As last year Dianne thought the Ox sheet was very nice I think this year's Tiger sheet is most impressive also. Just had to share it with you.

(Dianne's thread about the Year of the Ox: https://goscf.com/t/4027&SearchTerms=year+of )

Phosphor tagging is 3 bar around the side and bottom edges of the stamp. None on the sheet.

The Best Tiger I've seen in a while. A very hungry looking puddy-tat. International rate stamp showing a traditional tiger hand-stamp-sealer attached to bottom. (Hard to catch the 'Canada 1.70' at the bottom as the tiger-stamper is embossed and the Canada and 1.70 are in gold foil. They reflect strangely when scanned.

Note the specks of gold foil 'floating' around the tiger hand-stamp's head. Just loose gold floating around. Just think what that must be worth now-a-days, that loose gold. Oh, I feel weak.

Phosphot tagging is 4 bar around the outside edges of the stamp.

Permanent (P) (forever) domestic stamp showing the seal that you get when you use the above hand-stamp to seal a letter. A stylized embossed gold foil tiger.

I think I am going to really like this series. I must go look at the First Day Covers now, and maybe postcards. I wonder if they have a counter display?
