Does anyone recognize or make out the town name of the duplex cancel tieing this Sc# 279Bh? I've darkened the image to try to read the duplex cancel and still no help.

A portion of the cancel reads:
" (BREW?) ESTER, N.Y. CAM CO SERVICE C (Station C)
OCT 29 1230 PM 1902"

Also, What does 'CAM CO SERVICE" refer to? Is this an RPO??

Interesting prices for that strike. I wish mine was a bit cleaner and easier to read. I'll put this between my Buffalo and Washington DC Mail Collection "White" Wagons.

I am mostly ignorant of US postage strikes,
would that be considered a "transit strike" due to a lack of year in the duplex ring cancel? Curious.
