Greetings,

I started collecting in the 60's to earn the Boy Scout merit badge and got hooked. This lasted for about 10 years until life got in the way. I started with the Coronet World Album set and an Austria album from Minkus.

With getting close to retirement and wanting something to do, I dug my collection out of storage three years ago. I've started moving everything from the old (literally falling apart) albums into new ones and / or stock sheets.

Looking forward to learning what I can from all y'all.

Hi there. I, too, got back into stamp collecting after rediscovering my childhood album, which I inherited from my mother. I concur with Ursa – much more fun to collect in the digital era with all the resources available online.

Welcome!

My first album was the Coronet Deluxe World album too; I still have it.Like you, I'm getting back into the hobby after work, schooling, raising a family, etc. etc. took priority. I'm looking forward to learning more about stamps.
