Hi,

The first day cancellation of the Silver Jubilee stamp issued on 24/12/18 read "PAKISAN" instaed of PAKISTAN and the cancellation was therefore allegedly withdrawn.

Does anyone have more information on that, for example, how quickly the withdrawal was and how many cancellations have been made before withdrawal ?

Thanks
Dieter

It could also be that somewhere along the line the error was noticed and the canceler
was modified.Maybe none of the covers with the error were withdrawn….?

Assuming then, that the faulty stamp device has been retired and a corrected/new one applied retrospectively ? Since the corrected one has also the date 14/12/2018.

Otherwise there would have been two or more stamp devices available same time, only one of which was faulty ?
