This is listed as original gum, but looks like a pretty awful attempt at a re-gum, have not seen the yellowing and "junk" around any other Hawaii issues I own.

Would help to have a scan of the back but it does look very suspicious. There is gum gunk visible in the perf spaces along the left edge.

Stamps from hot humid climates often wind up with tropicalized gum and gum soaks. The gum is probably genuine, but calling it fresh.....?

Sorry, yes 'tis a 49. Like the centering, but got suspicious with all the gum around the edges clearly visible on the front of the stamp.
