The card is addressed to E.H. Pargiter, of Patiala, Punjab. According to the
India List and India Office List 1905, Pargiter was a Superintending Engineer, First Class, of the Irrigation Branch in Punjab.
On the day this card was posted, 14 December 1911, at the Delhi Durbar some 50,000 soldiers paraded before King George V.
Would have been quite a sight.
