Plum. Must be rare... Think this is legit? Scott is showing $3,500 for a plum on cover.

Plum is rare & valuable.

It has some similarities to plum, but there is no way to tell from a scan. Odds of course would not favor a stamp being the rare variety.

Most importantly, no buyer should ever consider buying such an item without identification from a competent authority. Even the expert services have challenges with some of the rare 3c colors.
