I have seen it mentioned a couple times that it's possible to modify Steiner pages using LibreOffice draw. I've opened the files a couple times and can select the text inside the boxes, but have not been able to get the stamp boxes themselves to select to allow for moving.

Does anyone know if the method has been documented anywhere? I'd really love to know what I'm missing.

Thanks in advance.

I use LibreOffice Draw. You need to check if several objects are grouped. If so, you need to ungroup them first. I have seen rows or even regions (even page) grouped together. Unlike PowerPoint it is not obvious so the easy way to use the select function to chose the entire page then do an ungroup or combine.

Draw seems to have two functions (combine and group) that are under the Shape menu that are similar.

Angore,

Draw is probably the app I'm least familiar with. I'll take a look tomorrow and see if I can get it to work following your suggestion.

Thanks for the tip.

Group/Ungroup didn't seem to do anything, but after doing a Select All the Split option under the Shape menu was enabled. After trying that I am able to move both the stamp boxes and the text inside them together.

I have found that the Split function is needed to break up the grouped boxes into separate entities.

After that I use the Group function to keep the box and the text together. Then everything can be re-positioned as needed.
