And the overprint is 20 "Tausend" (thousand, in German), not saufend. I wonder how you reached the briliant conclusion that it was a Russian stamp, while you can clearly read "Deustches Reich" (German Empire) in Latin alphabet; a Russian stamp should be written using cyrillic letters.
@marapaul The reason it looks like an S is because the overprint is done using a type of Gothic lettering called Fraktur. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraktur
Marapaul ----Don't worry about it , we all make those same mistakes . Stamp collecting is a life long learning experience ,I think I got that same stamp.
