This is the third time that a Canada Post Press Sheet has a unique format, i.e. different from the booklet or the sheet.
(The other two are Sharks in 2018 and Formula 1 in 2017.)

That the press sheets sold to collectors are not necessarily the ones used in the production of other stamp products became obvious with the Titanic issue, wherein the press sheet had a "no-dots" error, the regular production souvenir sheets never presented the error.

The first two press sheets allowed for 5 unique strips of five.
The Bears press sheet allows for 4 unique strips of six.
It also allows for a unique vertical strip of four.

My presentation in my 2019 album looks like this:

[So it turns out that I have 5 extra vertical strips. I'll pass one on to any of you who might like one. Send me a note.]

I sak, for sure now there is less than 1500 uncut press sheet intact availlable. 150 were framed and some were cut by collectors to fit in album pages. I wonder how many have done that ?
It is a very interesting uncut sheet with strips forming a different configuration, I like that and it remind me of the booklet pane 1273b (Post Office Truck) that pane hade the only two identical stamp side by side from that booklet and the value was higher because of that.
Do you collect first day cover ? it come in two version, one with the left booklet pane and the other one with the right booklet pane.

Hi Pollux
It takes two press sheets to get the two configurations: four horizontal and one vertical.

I really like this bears issue. I got the souvenir sheet and booklet, but missed the posting of the press sheet altogether.

Does anybody know where the press sheet is being offered for sale - not cut up? So far I only see one guy on ebay selling some pieces. I sent him a message a while back, but no response.

Thanks,

Ken

Hi Mestephil..
I talk to my Post Office clerk and do some research. He found some at different Post Office location that are still available, so ,he transfer one to my poste office and sell it to me. It's take about 3 day to have it. The sheet was at Ottawa Poste Office...
