Hello,

I love Lighthouse hingeless albums but of all the hingeless albums I've owned or tried, I find they seem to be quickest to break and I have yet to figure out a way to repair them.

What happens is the post that connects at the back of the album comes out of the post-hole. Worst case is I have bought a few online where the post actually punched through the backside of the spine. Is there a way to get and keep that post back in there? Or maybe I'm just not understanding how they work lol. I do know there is a bar that slides through the posts at the front of the album but nothing I've seen on the back?

Thanks!!

I will post some photos later when I have a moment to help clarify as I realize this may seem vague! Although I am assuming others have ran into this but perhaps not

Hence why I do not use the turn bar binders but use ring binders or spring back.

The turn bar binders have this issue as people try to overfill them instead of buying another one.

Once the posts get punched through the back, I would throw them away

If the posts are loose or can be pulled out, you could try some epoxy glue to glue them back in.

Be very careful positioning the posts as once the glue dries, they do not move. You may want to put then in the bar side, lock them in place and then close the binder in the broken (loose) side.

Once they are in place, leave dry for a few days and test.

Remember they will never be as good fixed as they were new and this will only be a band aid.
