Greetings, I am a high school senior returning to my stamp collection after a few years of leaving it on the shelf after I entered junior high. Like many others, I began collecting at an early age after my parents passed their amateur collections from the '60s and '70s on. I have accumulated a large amount of standard low CV mixture material of the type handed out to kids, though as I grew older I moved on to collecting postal history that intersected with my interest in military history. Recently, however, I have been going going country by country through Scott, identifying stamps obtained from mixtures, weeding out duplicates, and placing the best examples in my stock books. I thought I might join this forum in case I need assistance on distinguishing between similar definitive color shades in pre-1940 definitives.
