Does Anyone Have An Idea What The Towns Are On These German Cancels?

Hello.
Can someone identify the town names on these cancels? The resolution isn't very good but any help will be most appreciated.

No, that cannot be Düsseldorf because the state of Hessen is legible. Düsseldorf does not lie in Hessen.
Interesting note: "Dorf" is the german word for "Village". There are hundredsof places with a name that ends in "Dorf" in Germany.

Now to the identity: It could be one of the following:
Bad Sooden-Allendorf, Allendorf (Eder), Allendorf (Lumda), Frielendorf, Amdorf, Friedrichsdorf, etc.
There is too many to list....

The second Stamp seems to say "Mittelpunkt der..." Which is translated as: "Midpoint of..." below that you can read "Ostmar...". I think it says "Ostmark", which was the name of Austria under the 3rd Reich, until 1942.

Austria was annexed starting March 12th, 1938. Your Stamp has a date of either 15.3.38, 16.3.38 OR 18.3.38. (Or the same numbers in the 20s)
This means your Stamp was cancelled within less than a week to less than 2 weeks of the Annexation. I dont know how this impacts its value...

Unfortunately the third stamp is too faint with an unfortunate combination of colors. I cannot make it out.

I like the airship postmark.

This appears to come from the town of Walldorf, a few miles south west of Frankfurt.

Here's a scan of the complete postmark from the great stampsx.com site:


The text at the bottom says "Erholung am Rande des Flug- und Luftschiffhafens Rhein-Main",

basically something like, "Relaxation at the edge of the Rhein-Main airport".

This airport is now the Frankfurt International Airport.

The origin of the "mittelpunkt" postmark was a surprise for me.

It's from the town of Furth im Wald in Bavaria close to the border with the Czech Republic.

The full text is "FURTH I WALD MITTELPUNKT DER OSTMARKPOST."

The bottom stamp is likely from the WWII era. When areas to the east were incorporated into Germany, these violet two-line cancels were frequently used.

The faded violet color is hard to read, and the town names can be long. Also, the town names were often changed several times over the course of a few years. So, unless you have these stamps on piece, and some print resources, they are VERY difficult to identify.
