I have a 1p KGV violet on what appears to be rough paper, perf 14-1/2 x 14, wmk 9. Is this possibly a forgery, a color error, etc. I cannot find this stamp in the Scott catalog. The front and back of the stamp feels rough and the printing has mottled appearance over the entire stamp. It is a die 1 stamp, no spur in the left tablet. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

Can you supply a scan of the front at a minimum? We love scans, not cell phone pictures. Thanks

How does the 14-1/2 x 14 perf affect the value as opposed to the 14 perf that Scott lists for 22A?

I think this maybe a later hammer design, the dash replaced by a dot (period)
which I think I can now see.
