Good day all. I have a lot of stamps, especially from Indonesia, because we live in Indonesia. Some of them still new, some already degenerated. My grandfather love collected so many stamps, he wrote a lot of letters to many people before. Then he cut several stamps from envelope and stored them. Some stamps he bought, then laminated with plastic. But unfortunately, some were stick with glue and tape. The stamps still in good condition. I saw on some reply from this forum that glue and tape are no good. I will attach some pictures of the collection that I have. Is it possible if I sell them? Because I have so many series. Thank you before. Sorry for bad grammar, I hope you can understand me.

Your grammar is fine Nicoolivia,
Well done you.

In my experience, Indonesian stamps do not command a very good price in general, which has its advantages, one can build a very good collection at low cost, but not good for selling.

The caution with that statement, is the odd Souvenir Sheet/s that command extraordinary prices.
Damaged stamps in a collection can be a detriment to the overall value of a collection, glue and tape are a real "no,no"

Hello, this is the sample of my grandfather collection.

Maybe they were a souvenir sheet, but some of them are taped. I cannot release the tape, I afraid that might damaged stamps.

For Indonesia edition, I will send more picture, after I back from work.

These seem to be on the leaves on which they were mounted when bought from the shop. The tape is over a cellophane holder, rather than being affixed to the stamps, so they should be OK, although the block of four Nagaland stamps seem to be stuck to the backing paper. The stamps should be gently removed from the old packaging.

These are stamp packs, used by shops to sell stamp sets of countries
Your collection shown would be worth $2 - $4

Thank you for your reply. I think the price was the stamps souvenir price when my grandfather bought. There also single stamps, most from stamps product that my grandfather sold. Also there are stamps from envelope, I will send you another photos.

I wonder if I could sell the collection stamps like that, but how much it cost. Because I don't understand about stamp pricing system. I want to find philatelists, but up until now I cannot find them in here. Maybe you guys can help me, thank you before.

You could put them on eBay, but, as Rod said, they would sell for very little. Perhaps you could give them to a child who might be interested in starting a collection.
