I am posting this for a new member who is having trouble navigating the forum. He has the following question regarding the 1987 Kansas Duck stamp, any feedback is appreciated.
Quote:
1987 first of state duck stamp is anatomically different from the print -there is one more leading feather on the wing of the stamp vs the print - As far as I know the drawing for the print was made and they were running out of time to make the stamp so they made it off the drawing but then found the error and corrected the drawing before making the prints - is this correct?
He did not send along any images but I am adding images for clarity (print on top).

My assumption is that the discrepancy in with the number of primary feathers; 10 on print and 11 on stamp.
