I thought these looked nice. A block of 4, identified as New Zealand Scott 131d (or SG New Zealand Antarctic Expeditions A3).

As always, I fly speck for oddities. The most obvious one is a raised "IA" in the lower right stamp.

There is a very small speck on the upper right corner of the upper right stamp. Just odd.

But more interesting is the broken left shield on the upper left stamp. There is mention of a "feather flaw", but none of these pass that muster. Interesting.

Very nice block, and some interesting varieties. I also notice the size of the dots of LAND - they appear smaller on row 2 ?

Yes, ever so slightly. Not a variety, unfortunately.

The purchase also came with a modern cover, signed by Charles Wright, a person that is claimed to have found the body of Robert Scott. This was noted in the small letter included with the item, supposedly from Bileski. I love the inflated prices ...

So, here I am with my antique plastic Coca Cola ruler comparing the evenness of the letters on the block of 4, on screen!
I concur that the "IA" on the lower right stamp are higher that the rest. And the "I" on the top right is just a touch higher as well. With my handy ruler both the top "O"s are a bit higher as well.
