Please leave it alone. Saying anything more publicly would just open a bigger can of worms, since both both Bart and I only have suspicions, nothing definitive. As Amos Media is not willing to share specifics, nothing more can be gleaned.

Scott has always had problems with the listings in the various revenue sections regardless of who the owner/editor has been. that said the item in question cannot exist for the reasons given, and even the thought that the plate would have possibly used for paper trials is absurd as it was probably resurfaced for reuse long before the silk paper came into use. as for asking any catalog editor to divulge specific information for the basis of a listing I agree with revenuecollectors conclusion. Don's request for listing criteria to be open information is spot on. remember that expert committees make misteaks......and not all are equal to the task at times.
