
Scott has always had problems with the listings in the various revenue sections regardless of who the owner/editor has been. that said the item in question cannot exist for the reasons given, and even the thought that the plate would have possibly used for paper trials is absurd as it was probably resurfaced for reuse long before the silk paper came into use. as for asking any catalog editor to divulge specific information for the basis of a listing I agree with revenuecollectors conclusion. Don's request for listing criteria to be open information is spot on. remember that expert committees make misteaks
