Hello all Stamp Masters,

I found this Stamp on ebay, bid up to over $174:

I also found this one that was sold recently for $4,487.35:

Am I right in saying that the vast difference in quality reveals a forgery here?

It looks a lot like the forgery, bottom row, 2nd from the left, on the link vayolene provided.

It is a fake .Got a few that I paid $15.00 to $35.00 each for them . Surprised by the high price .

I would say it is the quality that determines the price. The forgery is well-printed (litho, I think, which tips it off as a forgery) and embossed. The boxed red cancel would get collectors excited, though it may not exist, either.

Speratis sell for something in this range.
