What is better than a 12c on part India paper? Two of them. These two stamps are also different from some of the high profile 12c part India stamps that have sold recently. Color, impression, and appearance are actually correct because, well, they really are on part India paper. Sorry, can't help it, had to put in there.

This is a fun pair of Scott #68 from the top row of the plate. Both stamps have a double transfer at bottom with the right stamp being a bit more pronounced.

I need to dig out and scan another 10c stamps that I know you would appreciate. It is an early printing bottom row stamp with pretty much identical doubling.

Speaking of double transfers, the one in the top label of the 64L11L you posted is big.

Apparently the transfer roll "slipped" while the position was being entered.

Here is a top row 10A with a pretty green grid cancel. It has a very unfortunate tear at top. One never fully appreciates perfect, perfectly sound stamps until you say: "I want a perfect four-margin Scott #10A from the top row with a pretty apple-green grid cancel", and you realize just how difficult that stamp is to find. I have the same problem with part India stamps. I just wish I could find a perfect 3c and 12c stamp, they are almost impossible to find.

How about a short transfer. R1b pair with short transfer. I assume this is the one listed in the catalogue, position #156.

Last one for tonight, another double transfer. This one is the famous major double transfer from 87R15. I've bought a couple of these lately. This one actually has a terrific impression.
