Thanks Aussie Al and tomd.

It was a very nervous wait for this stamp to travel across the Pacific by air mail.
This is the most I have ever payed for a stamp or any other bulk stamp buys.
I still feel like I have stolen this stamp and the price I payed and the cost of the certificate thrown in.
It is a long time since I have felt like a little kid when it comes to stamps but this stamp has made me feel that way.
I will try to keep this stamp for as long as I can.
A stamp that brings out the true collector in me.

Always Happy Stamping. KGV

Isn't that what it is all about. I can't afford that kind of a stamp. But I am so happy for your new addition and joy. I get the same joy as we have talked just by knowing which KG V I have. One day I will be in your position. But again it is great to here of your new addition.

Tom

This is a UV long wave shade reaction image of Deep Salmon Eosin.
The image has been taken with a white light on. Normally the camera would not be good enough to take any other UV shade reaction with the white light on or off. It just shows how strong the UV shade reaction is with the Eosin's.

I have spent a good part of the day reading through this thread as I missed most of it !

Quite amazing, well done KGV,Rod and all.
I have a small lot of KGV items here and have struggled to find values and info for the varieties. Thanks to those here and elsewhere who have helped.
Reading through this thread has helped enormously and I am grateful.

I'll post a few for KGV to comment on, if he wishes.

Really great stuff, most impressive.
