stampavalanche....that ia a dealer sales book (approval book). Usually listed by catalog # and cost.....you remove the stamp and place your name (initials) in the spot that you purchased.
Page 5, last stamp and page 9, 3rd stamp certainly qualify as fancy cancels. Unknown to me where they are from. Page 5, stamp 6 has a straightline REGISTERED, used from a number of towns as a cancel. There are a probably a couple of others that are just bad strikes.
If anything, this shows a fair range of cancels possible in c.1930.
In Australia referred to as a "Circuit Book" I buy these at auctions whenever they pop up, lots of "left over" stamps that members have no interest in, but sometimes a rich resource for Postmarks. They generally sell for a pittance.
