Mexico

I was going through a lot of Mexico trying to fill a couple of spaces ...what beautiful airmail stamps..and most catalog the minimum 20 cents..the only problem I would have with them is that reissued some of the same sets of airmails several times..i would need the patience to check the watermarks etc !

If you are talking classic era, I'm right there with you. Some real beauties. I'm just stepping out for the evening's activities, but if no one has added any scans by the time I check back, I'll insert a few.

Ok, Collin...i posted under world modern post 1940 ..but some of those airs from the 1930's are beauties..i did up a decent Guatemala collection..the only difficulty I found there was in some of the color variations...brown and yellow brown etc etc !!

Ah, yes, a nuance I missed. I have to keep tabs on that little ladder at the top of the thread. I use "Last 100 Active" to keep track of what goes on here, so categories just sort of fade into the backdrop.

Post 1940 has some nice ones, too. I'll drop one of my favorites in here, and then maybe I'll put some classic era up in their proper place. Here is one of the 1942 Astrophysics issues, Scott C123:





Makes me want to look for my secret decoder ring, for some reason. Pretty futuristic for 1942, I thought.
