This is the AS-501 Apollo 4 cover for the first full up Saturn 5 launch from complex 39 A.
34,000 canceled examples of which 9,685 had the KSC cachet applied.

These are the AS-204/LM-1 covers. The top example (red)is a essay type since the blue cachet was the officially released version. 26,000 canceled examples of which 8,300 had the KSC cachet applied.

These essays examples where the original proposed design for the Apollo 7 mission. Due to printing issues with this detailed design ,it was abandoned. A printed gummed label with crew insignia was applied to the cover as a quick fix to meet release demand for the launch event. Also note the essay types depict a Saturn 5 launch vehicle however the Saturn 1B launcher was used for this mission.

The top example is the printed gummed label type officially released.29,800 Canceled examples of which 10,760 had the KSC cachet applied.

The middle example is a VIP card type issued by KSC and distributed to NASA invited guests. This practice started with A-7 and continuing through the Apollo series of launches.

The bottom example is a printed envelope essay type.
