This November 9, 1984, 4.50 schilling stamp (Mi #1795) of Austria commemorates the 125th anniversary of 'Concordia', the Austrian Press Association.

On January 30, 1995 Finland issued a "Friendship" booklet of eight different 2.80 mk stamps for Valentine's Day. The stamps show characters from the Dog Hill Kids comics and each stamp contains a different hologram. Two of the stamps (Facit #s 1280 and 1282) feature characters writing letters.

Here is Finland's June 11, 1966 stamp (Facit #617) commemorating the centenary of the first stamps denominated in Finnish currency.

From Facit, "Issued at NORDIA 1966 in Helsinki June 11-15, 1966. Sold only together with an entrance ticket at the exhibition."

This 14c stamp (Sc #546) of Cuba is from a set of 8 issued on June 22, 1955 publicizing the Retirement Fund for Postal Employees. Depicted on the stamp is Antonio Sanchez de Bustamante y Sirven (1865-1951), Cuban lawyer, politician, and international jurist.

On October 6, 1997 Guatemala issued a set of four "Publicly Financed Projects" airmail stamps. The low value stamp (Sc #869) of the set, shown here, focuses on education.

Here is Greenland's May 29, 1980 stamp (Facit #123) commemorating the 150th anniversary of its libraries. Stamp depicts "Eskimos and their teacher Rasmus Berthelsen in library" (Facit).

The 70 aur value (Facit #322) from Iceland's October 1, 1953 Old Manuscripts set of 5 depicts a hand holding a quill pen over a parchment document. Facit describes the stamp as, "The Stjorn interpretation of the Bible."

On February 23, 1954 South Africa issued this set of two stamps (Sc #s 198-9) to commemorate the centenary of the Orange Free State.

This September 7, 2017 stamp of Ireland commemorates the 50th anniversary of free secondary school education in the country. 122,000 of the stamps were printed.

Finland's sole EUROPA stamp of 1996 is this 3.20m value (Facit #1333) issued on March 8. It commemorates the 90th anniversary of women's suffrage in the country. A mother with her children is shown signing the voting register in 1906.

On May 7, 2003 Finland issued a se-tenant pair of 65c EUROPA stamps featuring poster designs by Tapani Aartomaa. One of these stamps, shown here, uses the image of a pen nib in its design.
