Was looking through envelope after envelope of O.H.M.S. perforated stamps...On other envelopes I found the regular broken pins, blind perforations, etc...Then I opened another envelope of 500 Scott 0269 O.H.M.S. stamps, and every single one was inverted..wow.

Below is a couple of pictures what I found...

Here is one stamp from a block to show the inverted variety.

Now all you know I always think out of the box....
I could identify 133 cancels out of 500 stamps..
Here is what I found.

CANCELS
B.C.- 107----80.5%
ONT - 20-----15.1%
Que.- 3------2.3%
N.W.T.-2-----1.5%
Yukon -1-----0.75%

Looks like the majority of delivered stamps were used in B.C.
Just saying...haha

Robert

Wouldn't you know it, after I just posted this, I opened another envelope with INVERTED O.H.M.S...500 more..Not checking it right now...haha

I'm not an expert on perfins, but my understanding is that the paper is sometimes folded over. Therefore, half of the perfins would be in one orientation, and half would be the exact opposite. Depending on how you fold the paper, you could have many different orientations. I consider it odd that you have so many in one place, but perhaps someone had a good source?
