You may want to think about an album for later. The bulk of the issues and albums are in modern issues and you will find even just pages without a binder is some money. Brands include Scott, Minkus, Palo, Steiner (download and print yourself).
For the time being, consider Vario pages, which come with pockets in various sizes and will display and protect your stamps. Available from online stamp supply sellers and
ebay. I see there is a 1874-1898 revenue album download available on
ebay; unknown to me if anything else exists for the revenues.
In earlier periods, stamps (including revenues) were overprinted for use within a specific state or even city, to try to avoid robbers taking and selling stamps elsewhere. I note that that for the ones so overprinted or punched, I'm seeing Coahuila state: Ciudad Porfirio Diaz = Piedras Negras, and Monclova. Specialists often collect by state in the earlier era, so maybe that would be something for you.
The punched holes are perfins, for
perforated
initials or insignia. I've heard "perfinning" used for the process, but not commonly.
