Picked up a block of 4 of Sc #174 Quebec Citadel. Nothing spectacular in Unitrade. Lower right stamp, looks like smoke coming out of the Citadel. The stamp surface feels smooth. To me it appears to be some sort of staining, color isn't exactly the same as the ink. There are two other spatters of red ink on the left side of the stamp as well.

What do you think?

Hi Moyock13

Interesting..Trying to find out more..Checking mine..But like you said, maybe just a ink smudge.

Interesting stamp, especially in a block. It is not listed in Billig's Specialized Catalogues by Hans Reiche. But it reminds me of the Extra Smokestack variety catalogued as Newfoundland 240ii.
